These shocks offer about 50% more compression damping, and about 100% (twice as much) rebound dampening as the no-longer-available Bilstein shocks I removed, which felt about the same as stock BOGE shocks. I would not recommend them for tin-top Buses, unless the owner likes a really firm ride and\/or does a lot of high-speed, off-road driving. That said, these Fox shocks can be easily disassembled and re-valved by any shop that has Fox shock rebuilding capabilities.
