Our Story

Ever since I was a kid, I've been drawn to anything with an engine. The first time I watched Grave Digger tear through a stadium, felt the ground shake beneath my feet, and smelled race fuel in the air, I was hooked. What started as a childhood fascination quickly grew into a lifelong passion for horsepower, performance, and everything mechanical.

Some of my favorite memories are spending weekends in the garage with my dad, helping work on cars and motorcycles. Those experiences taught me far more than how to turn a wrench they instilled discipline, pride in craftsmanship, and a constant drive to improve. Before long, I had projects of my own, and my passion for building fast, reliable machines only grew stronger.

My journey into the automotive industry began at a Honda Powersports dealership, where I started behind the parts counter before moving into the shop. I worked on everything from dirt bikes, ATVs, and side-by-sides to street bikes and countless unique projects that rolled through the doors. Wanting to expand my knowledge, I enrolled in an automotive vocational program and graduated with multiple ASE certifications.

Afterward, I joined a local repair shop, gaining hands-on experience with virtually every make and model imaginable. Beyond the technical skills, that experience taught me the importance of communication, organization, and treating customers the way I'd want to be treated.

A few years later, I finally purchased my dream truck a 2015 LML Duramax. Like many enthusiasts, I was eager to modify it and make it my own. Unfortunately, I was taken advantage of by someone well-known in the diesel industry. While frustrating at the time, that experience ultimately became the motivation behind something much bigger.

That's when Piston Twistin LLC was born.

Piston Twistin was built on a simple idea: create a company enthusiasts can trust. A place where customers receive honest advice, quality products, dependable tuning, and support from someone who genuinely cares about helping them reach their goals.

No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just a passion for performance and a commitment to serving the diesel community the right way.

Since then, I've had the privilege of meeting incredible people who share the same enthusiasm for horsepower, tuning, fabrication, and the process of building something unique. Whether you're a long-time customer or just discovering us for the first time, thank you for being part of this journey.
