Return & Refund Policy

By ordering from PistonTwistin.org, you agree to the following policies:


Cancellation Policy

  • Standard Orders: All cancelled orders are subject to a 5% fee to cover payment processing costs. This applies to cancellations for any reason, including ordering the wrong part, unexpected lead times, or change of mind.

  • Vendor-Specific Products: Orders containing Carli, Kryptonite, Forced Inductions, Flux, HSP, Synergy, EvilFab, MBRP , and SDP products are subject to a 20% cancellation fee if cancelled prior to 8 weeks, due to extended lead times.

  • Custom Orders: Orders for powder-coated, special-order, or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once placed.

If you wish to adjust an order to a different product of equal or greater value, we may waive the cancellation fee at our discretion. Please contact support@pistontwistin.org for changes.


Tuning & Digital Products (Non-Refundable)

  • All tuning files, calibration files, and digital products are strictly NON-REFUNDABLE once delivered.

  • Custom tuning requires time, research, and development. These are labor-based services that cannot be reversed or resold.

  • By purchasing, you acknowledge that tuning files are provided “as-is” for off-road competition use only, with no warranties, guarantees, or liability for vehicle performance, drivability, or damage.


Lead Time Notice

  • Many products have extended lead times, particularly powder-coated and custom-made items.

  • Once an order for a powder-coated or custom-built item is placed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

  • If you require a product quickly, contact support@pistontwistin.org prior to ordering to confirm availability.


Returns

  • Returns must be approved in advance by contacting support@pistontwistin.org.

  • Approved returns are subject to a 15–25% restocking fee, depending on manufacturer policy.

  • Non-returnable items include:

    • Tuning files & digital products (non-refundable)

    • Special-order products

    • Custom powder-coated products

    • Open-box or clearance items

Products returned without prior authorization will be refused.


Warranty

  • Warranty claims must be directed to support@pistontwistin.org. Each manufacturer has its own process and requirements.

  • Warranty covers repair or replacement of the defective part only.

  • Warranty does not cover:

    • Labor costs

    • Shipping costs

    • Subsequent damage to other components or the vehicle

    • Failures caused by improper installation, abuse, or misuse


Drop Ship Notice

Some products are shipped directly from the manufacturer or distributor. In these cases:

  • Your chosen shipping method may not always be used.

  • Shipping times may vary depending on manufacturer stock and location.
