Shipping Policy

By placing an order or sending products (including ECMs/TCMs) to PistonTwistin.org, you agree to the following shipping terms:

General Shipping Policy

  • We process and ship orders during normal business hours, Monday–Friday (excluding holidays).

  • Most in-stock items ship within 1–3 business days unless otherwise stated.

  • Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

  • We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather events, customs, or other factors outside of our control.

Customer-Supplied ECMs/TCMs

If you are sending in an ECM, TCM, or other electronic module for tuning, unlocking, or related services:

  • Packaging Responsibility: You are responsible for securely packaging your ECM/TCM to prevent damage during transit. Use sufficient padding, a sturdy box, and seal all packaging.

  • Insurance: We strongly recommend insuring your shipment for the replacement value of the ECM/TCM. PistonTwistin LLC is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage that occurs in transit to us.

  • Return Shipping: Once service is complete, we will return the ECM/TCM to you using the shipping method selected at checkout. Return shipments are automatically insured for $100. If you would like additional insurance, you must request it and pay the difference prior to shipment.

  • Risk of Loss: All risk of loss or damage transfers to the carrier once the ECM/TCM leaves our possession. We are not liable for any damage or malfunction caused by shipping.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

  • If your order is lost or damaged in transit, you must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.

  • We will assist by providing necessary documentation but are not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or damaged goods.

  • For ECM/TCM shipments, replacement or repair costs are solely the responsibility of the customer.

Signature Confirmation

For high-value shipments (including ECMs/TCMs), we may require signature confirmation upon delivery. This ensures safe receipt and protects against theft or misdelivery.

International Shipping

  • International orders may be subject to duties, taxes, and fees determined by your country’s customs agency.

  • These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • PistonTwistin LLC is not responsible for customs delays or seized shipments.

⚠️ Important Notice: By shipping your ECM/TCM to us, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for proper packaging, shipping costs, and insurance coverage. PistonTwistin LLC is not liable for loss, damage, or delays caused by shipping carriers.
