1. Check Fluid Levels

   • Oil: Ensure the oil level is within the recommended range. Check for any signs of oil leaks.

   • Coolant: Verify the coolant level and inspect for any signs of leaks or contamination.

   • Fuel: I personally like to change out fuel filters every other oil change.

2. Inspect for Leaks

   • Perform a visual inspection under the truck for any signs of leaks, including oil, coolant, and fuel.

1. Inspect Tires

   • Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure and adjust as needed to ensure proper inflation.

   • Tread Depth: Inspect tire tread for wear and replace tires if necessary.

2. Check Battery

   • Inspect the battery terminals and cables for corrosion. Clean and tighten connections if needed.

3. Examine Belts and Hoses

   • Check for any signs of wear, cracks, or leaks in the belts and hoses. Replace any damaged components.

1. Inspect Air Filter

   • Check the air filter for dirt and debris. Replace the air filter if it appears clogged or dirty.

2. Test Brakes

   • Test the brakes for proper function. Listen for any unusual noises and inspect the brake pads and rotors for wear.

3. Check Lights

   • Ensure all lights, including headlights, taillights, turn signals, and brake lights, are functioning properly.

1. Change Engine Oil and Filter

   • Replace the engine oil and oil filter to maintain proper lubrication and performance. (Hotshots Black Diamond Oil is our recommendation & for the filter an AC Delco will work fine.)

2. Inspect Transmission Fluid

   • Check the transmission fluid level and condition. Top off or replace as needed.

3. Check Differential Fluid

   • Inspect the differential fluid level and condition. Replace if necessary.

1. Rotate Tires

   • Rotate the tires to ensure even wear and extend tire life.

2. Replace Fuel Filter

   • Replace the fuel filter to ensure clean fuel delivery to the engine.

3. Inspect Cooling System

   • Check the coolant level and condition. Flush and replace the coolant if necessary.

1. Inspect Suspension Components

   • Check the suspension components, including shocks, struts, and bushings, for wear and damage.

1. Replace Differential Fluid

   • Replace the differential fluid to ensure proper lubrication and function.

2. Inspect and Replace Glow Plugs

   • Inspect the glow plugs and replace any that are worn or damaged.

3. Service the Transmission

   • Perform a transmission service, including fluid and filter replacement.

Winter Preperation

1. • Check the battery condition and replace if necessary.

   • Ensure the coolant is rated for the expected temperatures.

   • Install winter tires for better traction.

2. Summer Preparation

   • Check the air conditioning system and recharge if needed.

   • Inspect and replace the windshield wipers.

   • Ensure the cooling system is functioning properly to prevent overheating.
