The Autostop Eliminator is an intelligent device for the auto start/stop system that plugs into the back of your Chevrolet Colorado's auto stop-start switch assembly. It restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically which eliminates the need to press the disable button after each ignition cycle.
Our switch-based design avoids all of the negative side effects because it interacts with the vehicle exactly as GM intended, at the switch. Don't be fooled by the hacks that:
Require warranty voiding software changes
Drain the battery
Disable Active Fuel Management (AFM)
Keep the vehicle in "diagnostic mode" which disables the malfunction indicator light (check-engine light) and can interfere with airbag functionality. (Every GM diagnostic port auto start/stop device we've seen has this major flaw.)
Hack the battery management system, which can impact system updates and heated seat functionality. (Every GM battery-based auto start/stop device we've seen has this major flaw.)
Interfere with remote start systems (Occasionally, people will confuse our device with others that have had issues with remote start. We have never sold a device for any vehicle that has interfered with a factory remote start system.)

Accessing the back of the auto start/stop switch on the Chevrolet Colorado is trivial. The connector that GM uses has a tendency to resist releasing, which makes it nearly impossible to detach with your fingers. That's why we created and included a custom tool in the kit that makes detaching the connector a breeze. Installations usually take about 5 minutes or less.
