Berk Technology 2.5″ Test Pipe – Honda S2000 (2000‑2009)

Free up horsepower, ditch the cat, keep the dash clean. This Berk 63.5 mm (2.5″) stainless test pipe replaces the factory catalytic converter, cuts weight, and includes a built‑in O₂ spacer to help prevent check‑engine lights—95 % success on 2000‑2005 AP1 models.

Key Features

  • Large 63.5 mm bore – maximises exhaust flow for NA or boosted builds.
  • Full 304 stainless – corrosion‑proof tubing, flanges & welds.
  • Integrated CEL fixer – mechanical O₂ spacer reduces MILs (less effective on 2006‑2007 drive‑by‑wire S2000s).
  • Bolt‑on fit – pre‑drilled flanges match OE studs; no cutting or welding.
  • Includes gaskets & hardware – ready for a driveway install.

What’s in the Box

  • 1 × 2.5″ stainless test pipe with welded O₂ spacer
  • 1 × Exhaust gasket
  • Mounting bolts & nuts set

Vehicle Fitment

Year Chassis Notes
2000‑2005 AP1 95 % CEL‑free
2006‑2007 AP2 (DBW) Higher CEL incidence
2008‑2009 AP2 Same fit; tune or spacer may be needed

Installation Notes

Direct bolt‑up between the header and mid‑pipe. Soak factory bolts in penetrating oil for easier removal. Average install time: 45 minutes with basic hand tools.

OFF‑ROAD USE ONLY. Not legal for use on public roads or highways. Verify local regulations before purchase and installation.

FAQ

Will I need an ECU tune?

A tune is optional but recommended to maximise gains and eliminate any remaining CEL on DBW models.

How loud will it be?

Expect a noticeably louder exhaust note and quicker throttle response; volume depends on your muffler setup.

Does it reuse stock O₂ sensors?

Yes, the primary sensor remains in the header; the secondary sensor threads into the welded spacer on the test pipe.
