Chevy Front Dana 60 Disc Brake Brackets

Direct Bolt-On Disc Brake Upgrade for Dana 60 Kingpin Axles

These disc brake brackets are built for Dana 60 kingpin front axles found in 1977–1991 Chevy/GMC 1-ton trucks and 1990–1993 Dodge trucks with internal locking hubs. They require no extra hardware and are designed to work with readily available '73–'87 Chevy 3/4-ton 4x4 calipers and rotors (not included). The setup delivers a lighter rotating mass and a firm, confident brake pedal feel while keeping parts easy to source.

The rotor mounts to the back side of the wheel hub, just like the factory design. Be sure to double-check stud diameter before installation—studs should drop freely into the rotor without pressing. If your hub studs are too large, rotors can be drilled to size (typically 11/16") for a proper fit. Minimum thread engagement for lug nuts should be at least 5/8".
