If your existing CV-joint bolts are stripped, chewed up, and full of dirt, replace them with new ones and have that that axle install job go that much easier. Sold 6 per pack.
Specs: These axle bolts are M8 x 48mm, 12-point polygon head. Torque to 33 ft-lbs.
Fits: 1968-79 Bus, all 1980-91 Vanagon 2WD & Syncro. 6 bolts required per CV-joint.
Important Installation Note: Always replace the serrated washers when doing CV joint work. These little washers play an important role in achieving the desired bolt torque, and ensuring the bolts do not come loose.
