📖 Our Story

Since I was a kid, I’ve been drawn to anything with an engine. The first time I saw Grave Digger tear up a stadium — the ground rumbling beneath my feet, the smell of fuel in the air — I was instantly hooked. That moment wasn’t just entertainment… it was ignition. Ever since, I’ve had a deep love for speed, power, and everything mechanical.

I used to spend hours in the garage helping my dad work on his cars and motorcycles. Those weekends taught me more than just tools and wrenches — they taught me discipline, pride in your work, and how to keep chasing progress. Eventually, I got my own cars and bikes, and that’s when the addiction to go fast really took off.

I landed a job at a Honda Powersports dealer, working the parts counter. Before long, I was wrenching on everything from dirt bikes and four-wheelers to side-by-sides and street bikes — even a bunch of off-brand stuff that came in broken and left better than new. Wanting more, I enrolled in a vocational automotive program and graduated with multiple ASE certifications.

With those certs, I worked at a local auto shop — we touched every make and model you could imagine. That shop gave me hands-on experience not just as a tech, but also in what it takes to run a business the right way: communication, organization, and above all, doing right by people.

Fast forward a few years — I finally got my dream truck, a 2015 LML Duramax. Like anyone would, I went looking to mod it. That’s when I got scammed by a seller who was actually well-known in the diesel scene. I could’ve just sat back and complained — but that moment lit the fire for something bigger.

That’s when Piston Twistin LLC was born.

It wasn’t just about starting a business — it was about building a place where people could actually trust the parts they’re buying and the people they’re buying them from. No B.S., no shortcuts — just straight-up support for the diesel community.

Since then, I’ve met so many awesome people who share the same love for horsepower, tuning, wrenching, and the thrill of the build. So if you're reading this — thank you for being part of it.
