These are an upgrade for close to stock trucks that have minimal supporting mods. The nozzles are SAC type and match the original Early 5.9 spray pattern (7 hole, 143°) with a higher flow to easily deliver an additional 50+HP. All components are built and tested on specialized equipment designed and built in-house at Exergy. Every 50HP injector is tested at multiple calibration points, and held to tolerances that are tighter than factory.
When switching from the factory VCO nozzle to a SAC type nozzle it is highly recommended to increase rail pressure to maintain optimum fuel atomization to provide a clean idle.
