Exergy Sportsman pumps have the following improvements over a stock pump making them a great replacement option: Higher flowing valves that last longer than stock, DLC coated plungers that are less likely to score/seize, More surface area to carry pumping loads. They also continue to increase flow with RPM beyond 3,000 RPM. Stock pumps typically stop increasing flow when RPM exceeds approximately 3,000 RPM.
Note: Though a lift pump is not required, to achieve maximum pump performance a fuel supply of 150 GPH @ 15 psi per pump is recommended. Also, this is a 6.7 based CP3 pump. Consequently, the fuel supply line will need to be modified as the inlet port is in a different location on the pump.
This pump can be used as a direct replacement for Bosch part numbers 0 986 437 304, 0 445 020 147, 0 445 020 039, and 0 445 020 011, as well as Mopar part numbers R5143425AA, 50104877AA, and R5191780AD.
