The nozzles are enlarged using abrasive flow honing technology and are hydraulically flow matched to less than 1%. Each nozzle undergoes four separate quality control checks throughout the process before being installed back onto the injector. All components are built and tested on specialized equipment designed and built in-house at Exergy. Every Sportsman injector set is tested at multiple calibration points, and held to tolerances that are tighter than factory.
These injectors can be used as a direct replacement for Bosch part numbers 0 986 435 520 and 0 445 120 082, as well as GM part numbers 98002368 and 97780360.
