Equipped with Exergy's System Saver LML Inlet Metering valve (also called FCA and MPROP) offers an affordable option to help protect your high dollar fuel system components.
Starting with a new inlet metering valve from Bosch they replace the factory single layer 85 micron inlet screen that is molded in a plastic frame with one of their our own design. The Exergy screen is mounted on a stainless steel frame that will not fail when the screen fills with debris and becomes a restriction. It also has two layers of 10 micron screen. Not only is the screen over eight times finer than the factory screen, but the addition of another layer further increases protection from debris.
Should the pump actually fail we recommend replacing the pump, and not replacing the injectors unless there are injector related symptoms present after the install.
The System Saver Inlet Metering Valve is also a wise upgrade should the valve need to be replaced to address traditional metering valve failure modes such as idle surge and excessive rail pressure fluctuations.
Please note that a valve cannot be returned after it has been installed.
