Our well-known crown-shaped truss design isn’t just for custom housings anymore — this kit adapts it for factory Ford 9" housings without compromising strength or weight. Instead of the typical flat-back profile, this truss uses four strategic bends to drastically increase rigidity across the rear. It’s long enough to reach the brake brackets, eliminating the usual weak spots where other trusses fall short. Built from .135" steel, it strikes a balance between durability and weight savings — thicker than 1/8" but not overkill.
What really sets this design apart is the way it mounts. Instead of focusing heat on one side of the tube, the truss runs the full width of the axle, allowing welds 180 degrees apart.
