Improved Power and Throttle Response
Engineered to withstand the demands of modern turbocharged and high-performance vehicles, the BBK Black Billet Series 73mm throttle body delivers excellent airflow, durability, and performance.
The larger 73mm bore increases airflow to the engine, helping improve throttle response, acceleration, horsepower, and torque. On EcoBoost applications, the increased airflow can also help reduce turbo lag for quicker response when you step on the accelerator.
Horsepower gains of 8–15+ are possible, depending on the vehicle’s boost level, tune, and supporting modifications.
Premium Billet-Aluminum Construction
The BBK Black Billet Series throttle body is fully CNC-machined from high-quality billet-aluminum stock for maximum strength, durability, and dependable performance.
It features a black anodized finish with a CNC-machined BBK logo for a clean, high-performance appearance. OEM electronics are included, along with an OEM-quality throttle gear, double-sealed bearings, and O-ring-sealed throttle shafts for smooth and reliable operation.
Easy, Direct-Fit Installation
This BBK 73mm throttle body is designed as a direct-fit, bolt-on replacement for a straightforward installation. No major modifications are normally required.

Tuning Note
BBK electronic throttle-control performance throttle bodies are engineered to work with the factory tune in most applications. However, depending on the vehicle’s additional modifications and ECM sensitivity, custom tuning may be recommended.
Although tuning is not normally required, it can help maximize performance, drivability, and horsepower when the throttle body is combined with other aftermarket upgrades.
