Ever left your lights on and come back to a dead battery? Well, those days are over! With this simple (yet ingenious) addition, your door buzzer* acts as a warning if you ever open your door with your lights ON and the key OUT of the ignition. Fits all years of Vanagon*.
You will need a working headlight switch, seatbelt warning relay (323-919-433B - currently available used only), and drivers door switch.
*NOTE: Some headlight switches DO NOT have the correct terminals on the back! Look for terminals labeled 58L and 58R on the back of the switch. See pictures above for clarification. Our new switches have the needed terminals. Please verify that your switch has the correct terminals BEFORE ordering.
