Even in the best of circumstances, a Vanagon's horn circuit is beleaguered by the current forced through the horn button. This kit removes that burden from the horn button, allowing the installation of higher powered horns drawing up to 10A (like our Dual Horn Kit). Adding this relay to the circuit also improves horn response, so you can cheerfully beep at passing Vanagons without laying on the horn.
The included weatherproof relay easily installs behind the passenger headlight, and retains the stock wiring so you don't need to rearrange your fuse box. It can also be installed in other applications where you want relay switched power.
