Inner Axle Seal, 2.5""

High-retention seal for full-float axle tubes with a 2.5"" I.D.

This 2.5"" inner axle seal is built specifically for full float rear ends or front ends running 35 spline D60 shafts or Toyota-style 1.31"" shafts. It’s a press-fit style with no slop — eliminating the leak issues you’ll run into with looser seals. We’ve designed this with three O-rings on the housing to lock it in place, and the replaceable inner seal itself features a double-lip design to give you two seals per side — effectively four per axle.

These are ideal when running a grease-packed setup at the hub, like you'd do on the front of a Dana 60. Semi-float setups that rely on oiling the outer bearings aren’t the right match here. Available for 2.5"" axle tube I.D. only. Sold individually.

Key Features:

  • Part Number: R1599
  • Fits 2.5"" axle tube inside diameter
  • Designed for 35 spline Dana 60 shafts or 1.31"" Toyota shafts
  • Three O-rings on the housing for a tight, leak-free fit
  • Replaceable inner seal with dual lips for added sealing
  • Flexible seal ID stretches to match shaft diameter once packed with grease
  • Ideal for full float setups — not recommended for semi-float applications

What's Included in the Kit:

  • (1) Inner axle seal assembly

Note:

Use grease on the housing during install to ease the seal into place and avoid damaging the O-rings. Not suitable for semi-float axles that require oil to cool the outer wheel bearings.
