This aftermarket replacement is a low-cost, modern alternative to the expensive and outdated original German part. The original part is actually a repurposed 1970's VW Rabbit side marker, and is a terribly antiquated design. Our replacement is a complete assembly, therefore there is no need to buy the bulb, bulb socket and wiring harness, or the mounting screws separately. This side marker replacement features a sealed LED (not a bulb) for ultimate weatherproofing and longevity. (The housing itself is not waterproof and might see a bit of water intrusion, but the LEDs are sealed and protected, so no worries!) See additional photos that demonstrate improved visibility!

Fitment Note
This sider marker has a footprint that is dimensionally smaller than the original part, yet it utilizes the same mounting holes in the body. It also extends out from the side of the vehicle a bit more than the original part (see additional photos for detail).
