2WD Vanagons have lug nuts on the rear wheels and lug bolts on the front. Surprised? If you haven't had to change a flat, you'd never know this little tidbit of info. Up until this very moment, if you wanted some locking wheel fasteners to protect your nice new alloy wheels from the sticky fingers of ne'er-do-well hoodlums, you were forced to buy one set of nuts and one set of bolts. This left you with unused hardware, two separate "keys" (front and rear), and possibly a bad taste in your mouth.
With this GoWesty kit, you simply buy ONE set of locking nuts (four pieces) and convert two of them into bolts to be used in the front. Yes, we really are trying to save you money and time!
Note: If you have converted your 2WD to big brakes up front, you already have studs and you DO NOT need this kit.
