Heavy-duty dual battery box for Optima 34/78 batteries.
This dual battery box is built to eliminate the weak points found in many other designs. Constructed from 12-gauge steel (about 1/10" thick) with a MIG-welded center tab, it's made to withstand vibration and stress without cracking or failure. The close-tolerance fit ensures that the batteries stay secure without shifting, providing durability without unnecessary bulk or cost.
Designed specifically for Optima 34/78 batteries, the box measures 20" x 7 1/8" and holds two batteries lengthwise. The top plate is shaped to match the newer Optima style but will also work with older models. No mounting holes are pre-drilled, allowing you to weld or bolt the box in place exactly as your project requires.
