Power Driven 5-Pinion Overdrive Planet Kit

The Power Driven 5-Pinion Overdrive Planet Kit for 47RE and 47RH transmissions is a replacement part for the overdrive planet gear. Older 47RH and 47RE transmissions came factory with 4-pinion straight-cut overdrive gears, replacing the overdrive planet gear with a 5-pinion version, which improved the holding capability of the overdrive gear. Recommended for 600 hp and above.

Will fit 48RE, but the 5-pinion planet is a downgrade vs. OEM 6-pinion planetary.
