Note: This kit converts your valve body into a full manual valve body. In factory form, if you put the shifter into D, the transmission will shift itself from first to second to third gear all by itself. A full manual valve body disables that. Putting the shifter into manual first will be first gear, putting the shifter into second will shift to second gear, and shifting the transmission to D will now be third gear, all regardless of throttle or mph.
