The PPE 118034300 Head Stud Kit is engineered to handle higher boost levels and is an excellent upgrade over the stock bolts in your 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax. These studs are manufactured out of 8740 Chromoly and thread rolled to Mil-S-8879 specifications for greater strength. After center-less grinding the studs for accuracy, the washers, nuts and studs are then black oxide coated to resist corrosion. These studs have been verified to have a tensile strength of over 231,900 PSI to outperform all other aftermarket Studs on the market. With hardened parallel washers, nuts, this stud kit also includes assembly grease for consistent load distribution and precise torque readings.
