These replacement lower spring pads are crafted from durable, pliable polyurethane which means they will hold up to some serious abuse. Fits between the rear spring and the trailing arm. Sold individually. Two required per vehicle.
Fits: All 1980-91 Vanagon and all 1993-03 Eurovan with original springs. (Please note that the original Eurovan pad was slightly thicker, but this aftermarket option will work just fine!)
A note on aftermarket coil springs: These lower pads are not required for aftermarket coil springs, including GoWesty springs. Aftermarket springs are not tapered to a smaller wire diameter at the end of the spring like the original design. The larger diameter, stiffer wire will wear a hole through any plastic pad at the spot where the coil rubs against the pad at full droop. It does not hurt to run these pads, but they are not necessary.
