Rivet nuts are extremely handy little fasteners that allow you to add a threaded connection to sheet-metal where you don't have access to the backside for a traditional nut. The problem has always been getting them installed. The tools that did a good job were too expensive for a "one-and-done" home user, and the only affordable option left a bit to be desired in terms of fit, function, and affordability. Not to mention they would not install anything bigger than a 1/4" or 6mm rivet nut. Well, those dark days are over! Here is a simple, cheap, and effective tool that will allow you to install rivet nuts to your hearts content. This is so simple and works so well, I don't know why we didn't think of this before!
The tool size will correspond to the thread size of the rivet nut you will be installing.
