Ever wondered if that top was going to come crashing down and ruin what was otherwise a really good night's sleep? Well, wonder no more. This fantastic, inexpensive locking poptop strut set will have you sleeping like a baby. This kit is designed for Eurovan Winnebago campers ONLY.
Kit includes: • (2) locking struts. • Installation instructions included
Installation note: If you want to remove the locking function from this strut, you can simply unscrew one end and slip the locking sleeve off. Voila!
Struts are rated at 100 lbs. resistance (non-locking).
Operation note: Typically, you'll need to push the top up pretty hard in order to utilize the locking feature on the strut. The bottom of the orange plastic collar must clear the end of the strut cylinder, and then you slide it over to one side into the locked position, see the video tab for a visual description of this.
