This kit includes the parts needed to fix that sloppy shifting once and for all. The most common culprit is the plastic ball, which tends to wear out over time. Get this exclusive GoWesty-designed kit, which features a brand-new hard plastic ball and stainless steel shift ball lever, in addition to our DuroGreen Viton boots.*
If you need the Shifter Selector Lever Elbow and Pin, they are available separately. These parts don't fail often, which is why they are not included in the kit.
*Like most original Volkswagen rubber parts, these shift boots were very high-quality and lasted a long time. Unfortunately, most aftermarket reproduction boots lacked the durability of the originals, so we crafted our own out of superior Viton.
Fits: This boot fits 1983-91 Watercooled Vanagon with the 091 (2WD) and 094 (4WD & 2WD 5-Speed) transaxles.

Viton also has a strong resistance to UV exposure, oxidation, ozone, weathering, and molds. So yeah, it is really good stuff!
