This muffler with integrated 2.5" tail pipe is an all stainless steel, free flowing, straight-through design that improves exhaust flow while delivering a smooth, mellow exhaust note. Also, it is a full 4lbs lighter than the OEM muffler!
Direct fit for all 1986-91 2WD and 4WD. That's right, we designed this part to fit both 2WD and Syncro. In addition, we kept the flange positions in the same exact factory locations. So this part is interchangeable with the corresponding original VW exhaust component. This allows you to replace your aging exhaust system with these stainless steel parts piece by piece or all at once with our complete exhaust kit.
