This simple tension gauge gets you accurate readings every single time. Take the guesswork out of the job and ensure your belts are never too loose, or worse yet too tight! Not recommended for use on timing belts.
Set the tension of your new belt based on the Installation Tension specs. Run the engine for five minutes and check your tension again. If your belts have fallen below the Tension Range, adjust your belts to the Installation Tension specs below.
New Belts/Installation Tension: • 10 section: 40 kg • 13 section: 55 kg
Used Belts/Tension Range: • 10 section: 25-30 kg • 13 section: 40-45 kg
