Vanagon owners often spend time (and money) replacing a wiper cap here, a wiper shaft cap there... why not do it all in one fell swoop and improve the system at the same time? The original Vanagon wiper hardware is flawed a single flat washer allows the nut to back off over time, which eventually tears up the threads on the wiper shaft. Our kit adds a wavy washer for increased friction. A simple fix that works wonders.
Kit includes: • Three (3) wiper arm caps • Three (3) wiper shaft-to-body caps • Three (3) wavy washers • Three (3) nuts • Three (3) flat washers
Easy installation instructions:Working from the outer-most wiper cap toward the body of the Vanagon (right to left in the product photo), the hardware installs in this order: wiper cap, nut, wavy washer, flat washer, wiper arm (not included), wiper body-to-shaft cap.
